Electroplating
We use reliable suppliers to do electroplating which is a form of metal finishing used in various industries, including aerospace, automotive, military, medical, RF microwave, space, electronics and battery manufacturing. It is the electrochemical process whereby metal ions in solution are bonded to a metal substrate via electrodeposition.
Mig & Tig Welding
At De Acero Engineering we specialise in coded TIG welding for pressure and vacuum applications in carbon, stainless steel, aluminium and copper. We have 10-12 welding bays covering 500m² to ensure that we meet delivery deadlines. With coded MIG welding we focus on thin walled tube to light structural welding.
Mechanical Design in 3D Cad
Engineers and designers use mechanical engineering and design software to model, validate, and communicate ideas before production. Additional tools are available and sometimes integrated in the CAD software for manufacturing products on a CNC machine or 3D printer.
Laser Cutting
We use reliable suppliers by using the latest laser cutting technology and providing precision quality and outstanding service. We do laser profiling of sheet metal and as a value-added service we offer CNC bending facilities. We service customers in the fields of machine building, fabrication, agricultural, general engineering, architectural, automotive, marine, decorative, signage and shop fitting etc.
Bending
We use reliable suppliers for bending and forming machines. These machines can manipulate tubes and plates as required. With the use of integrated software we are able to draw and then program our machines to make complex bends and shapes. The key machines are the mandrel pipe bender, the tube end former and the plate press brake. They are all capable of working the full spectrum of metal alloys, grades and types for various sizes and shapes.
Sandblasting
Abrasive blasting ( sand blasting ) is the cleaning and descaling of metal by means of a stream of abrasive grit blown through a nozzle under air pressure.
Tone-Blast’s abrasive blasting technique, uses steel abrasive grit; it reduces the dust on the blasted surface making it easier to apply the various paint coatings.
Powder Coating
Powder Coating is sometimes referred to as dry painting. It uses an electrically charged polyester powder paint which is sprayed on to an earthed work-piece, such as a wheel, using a special low ampere spray gun. The electrostatic charge holds the powder on the work-piece as a fine coating until it is transferred to the oven.
